Artside Gallery ㅣ Mun Yunwook · Choi Eunji <Mirrored House>
Artside Gallery is pleased to present "Mirrored House," a two-person exhibition by artist Yunwook Mun (b. 1980) and furniture designer Eunji Choi (b. 1985), who work with ceramics to create various installation sculptures. This exhibition is a collaboration between a couple of artists who are promoting sustainability in their respective fields, and presents original works by the two artists who are mirror images of each other, from objects to installations.
The exhibition is based on the imagination of what it would be like if a space that has already melted into life and become familiar was filled with colorful art, and what kind of space would be created if there was a connecting pathway to such a space. The exhibition will allow the Artside Gallery to serve as a conduit to a new space, where you can see not only the works, but also the unique results that cross the boundaries of practicality.
We now live in close proximity to art. Crossing the boundary between life and art, art furniture has become a means of expressing one's personality beyond the limits of practicality. Moon Yeonwook and Choi Eunji are showing spaces based on their own personalities and tastes through their works within the genre of art. Through this exhibition, the viewer will be able to feel a sense of strangeness and curiosity in the form of unfamiliarity that breaks away from the stereotypes of art by making the exhibition hall a unique space.
